The Joe Pyle sr Foundation has been created in loving memory of their father by Joseph jr and Suzanne Pyle. The foundation will be a means to raise funds for underprivileged kids who wish to get into sports and boxing especially.

Over the years Joe Pyle sr and jr have raised hundreds of thousands for children who have found themselves in hopeless positions, it is our aim to help future children become better men and women and not to fall into the pitfalls that so many underprivileged children find themselves going.

Lets be honest, not many kids on council estates are going to be fortunate enough to go to Oxford or Cambridge and become high flying bankers and lawyers but many of these kids have talents elsewhere.
We have met so many kids who have a natural talent, be it boxing, running or football but the pressures of life, living in their environment grinds them down on a daily basis.

The Joe Pyle sr foundation is being launched to help these kids when no one else wants to listen, we cant help everyone, we wish we could but we will be definitely helping some.

All the funds raised will go back into the community, back into the local Boxing gyms, Karate centres, youth clubs and parents.

We recently heard a story about a kid who is twelve years of age who has had six amateur bouts and won them all, his mother is a single mum trying her best to bring up five children. I was at the gym where this kid trains and the trainer told me he has not been at the gym for three weeks, now this kid was keen as mustard and a real talent, what I found out was typical and deeply upsetting, the kid had not been coming to the gym because his mum could not afford to give him the £3 for the training sessions, being proud he did not want to tell the gym and I also found out he had sold all of his Nintendo DS games he had got for Christmas just so he could pay a few weeks training subs.
I gave the trainer £150 and told him to pay the boys subs, these are the kind of things we have launched the foundation for.

Joe Pyle sr would have been the first to help in situations like these so it is in his memory that we wish to continue giving, continue our support and continue our advice.
