Now down to business;
MeanMachine Promotions established itself back in 2002 as an alternative to professional and Amateur boxing.
Since then we have promoted and co-promoted over a hundred boxing shows across the British isles where our Innovation, enthusiasm and the ability to change with the times have kept us sitting at the top of the hill!
Along with Ricky English we were the first promoters in this country to use the name ‘Semi-Pro boxing and we were the first boxing promoters not affiliated to the British boxing board of control or amateur to license and rank our boxers.
All MeanMachine promoted events are sanctioned by the World Sports Organisation (WSO) Britain's only officially recognised Semi-Professional ruling body.
(click on link below this note for the WSO website)
MeanMachine Promotions were also the first promoters in the country to stage what is known as a ‘prize-fighter’ contest now popular on sky sports in the professional ranks and we staged it 2002!
We have also led the way in how are shows are run by insisting it is mandatory that paramedics and doctors as well as a chief medical officer be in attendance at all our promotions.
In fact Most of the backgrounds of the MeanMachine team comes from the professional side of boxing and its this professional teaching and pride that we bring to our events.
The list of what we have done is endless so we wont bore you anymore, our achievements should become apparent as you look through the pages of this website.
‘people lie, history doesn’t!’
To close this note we will add that if you are looking to box or get involved as an agent, trainer or any other personnel then you have clicked on the right site, if you added up all the years of experience of the mean machine team then it totals in the centuries of what is at your disposal.
There are alternatives out there, a few of them are good Alan Mortlock and the IBA is very much respected by us, sometimes it seems that every week a new promoter springs up and promises everything under the sun but what they don’t have and cant use is experience.
Thank you for visiting us and we hope you enjoy your time on the site and we hope you contact us and decide to get involved in the toughest and greatest sport of them all.
